Become a Member

NWVAC is a volunteer ambulance service. It has approximately 40 members and is in the process of recruiting new members, age 18 and older. Members are required to ride one six-hour on-call shift per week to maintain active status. NWVAC provides uniforms, equipment and training in CPR, EMT and Advanced EMT-Intermediate.

NWVAC offers many benefits for its members, including:

• free internet service and satellite television at NWVAC headquarters

• LOSAP retirement program

Please note: If you are not interested in riding the ambulance but would like to help us with fund raising or at special events, then become an associate member. Associate members meet monthly to discuss fund raising ideas and how to help the riding membership.
