Cornwall Operations

After providing Advanced Life Support and assisting with Basic Life Support operations in Cornwall for many years, the Town & Village boards for Cornwall and Cornwall-on-Hudson have chosen to designate NWEMS as the primary ambulance service for their constituents. We look forward to continuing to provide excellent patient care while utilizing the latest technology in the healthcare industry to do so.

We encourage the residents of Cornwall to come give back to their community and serve along side NWEMS!

New Windsor EMS is always looking for new members to join our team from the New Windsor, Cornwall and the surrounding areas! In the near future we will be staffing a second station in the Town of Cornwall! So, now it is time to take the plunge and join one of Orange Counties most prestigious, respected and advanced EMS agencies! Our online and physical applications can both be found below!

Ambulances 172 & 173

– Dedicated Means Dedicated –

Ambulances 172 & 173 are the newest addition to our fleet of six ambulances in service!

Both manufactured by Wheeled Coach;
172 is a 2022 Ford Transit Type 2 Ambulance 173 is a 2022 Ford E350 Type 3 Ambulance.

These units will be the primary ambulances for the Town of Cornwall and Village of Cornwall on Hudson. In addition, based on location these will be the primary units available to assist our neighbors in the Town of Highlands & Town of Woodbury when requested for mutual aid!

The members staffing these units will be wearing Cornwall EMS branded attire. However, you might still see New Windsor Ambulances in Cornwall when we are dispatched to multiple calls at one time!
